Here's what you can look forward to
- Define and implement a strategic vision for testing and quality assurance in an agile environment
- Standardize testing practices across squads, ensuring consistency in methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Lead upskilling initiatives to empower testers and development teams with modern testing capabilities
- Integrate testing within agile workflows, enabling seamless collaboration between testers, developers, and product owners
- Drive a shift-left approach, embedding testing earlier in the development cycle and promoting quality ownership within squads
- Develop a comprehensive test automation strategy, aligning with CI/CD pipelines and agile tooling
- Establish meaningful quality metrics and KPIs to track performance, including defect escape rates and automation coverage
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, where quality assurance is an integral part of software development at ista
- Ensure independent deployability of applications while optimizing test coverage and reducing reliance on complex end-to-end tests
What we require of you
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading agile testing transformations at scale
- Deep technical expertise in test automation frameworks and modern testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD principles, and agile development
- A passion for mentoring and developing teams, with a focus on upskilling and knowledge sharing
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a squad-based organizational structure and familiarity with the Spotify model is a plus
